I was looking for a plumber that was certified by Bayren and Peninsula Clean Energy so that I could qualify for a rebate on my Hybrid Water Heater install. Awesome Plumbing in Daly City was on the List. Called Mr Sung and set up a site visit. He clarified how the rebates would play out and gave me a total install price for the size water heater I needed. He did a great job, The City Inspector liked the install as well as the Bayren inspector that also follows up after the work is complete. I also like the fact that Mr Sung is 'Awesome Plumbing' and has pride in his quality work.

Sung is an incredible person to work with. We decided to switch to an electric heat pump when replacing our water heater. He was very responsive and walked me through exactly what would need to change, provided a clear estimate, and gave me clear expectations on different rebate programs and timeline. Installation went smoothly and despite putting in a long day, he took his time to ensure that things were working in every bathroom and took some extra time to educate me on a few things I could do for maintenance and to keep our family healthy. During inspection for the permit, the inspector was very impressed with the work. Sung is an approved BayREN contractor and handled all of the paperwork for rebate programs offered by BayREN and Peninsula Clean Energy. Both rebates were approved and checks mailed within weeks. Sung is incredibly professional, communicative, and on top of everything. I cannot recommend working with him and Awesome Plumbing enough.
